#ECSeries: Assessment #ResponsiveTeaching
As part of the #ECSeries, we welcome Yamina Bibi who will explore evidence-informed strategies focusing on assessment.
Yamina will examine how we can use formative and summative assessment in order to identify the needs of learners, measure progress, and adapt the learning to the needs of the students in the classroom. In this session, Yamina will share practical approaches to assessment for learning and checking for understanding, including whole class strategies and a range of questioning techniques.
If you’re looking to enhance your responsive teaching in the classroom and ensure all students make effective progress, then this session is a must for you.
Yamina is an Assistant Headteacher in an East London school with a wealth of teaching and leadership experience. Yamina’s professional experience includes leading the TES English Team of the Year 2020, supporting ITT/ECTs as a Professional Mentor and developing all staff as an experienced coach.
