Event information

As part of the #ECSeries, we welcome Yamina Bibi to talk through how to plan for and deliver an effective lesson to support student progress using evidence-informed strategies. Yamina will also explore how to use formative and summative data to inform your planning and ensure that all learners are represented and included so that all students can achieve success. This session will also consider what helps motivate learners within the classroom and how we can plan lessons that help students’ self-motivation.  If you’re also looking for time saving methods to plan effective lessons, this is the session for you.

Yamina is an Assistant Headteacher in an East London school with a wealth of teaching and leadership experience.  Yamina’s professional experience includes previously leading the TES English Team of the Year 2020, supporting ITT/ ECTs as a Professional Mentor and developing all staff as an experienced coach.

Yamina is an accredited Consultant for Resilient Leaders Element and a Network Leader for #WomenEd London.  Yamina is passionate about sharing practice and speaks on a number of topics including Diversity and Inclusion, Women in Leadership, and Teaching English.

In July 2021, Yamina was nominated for and won the Rising Star Award in Education and Academia.
