The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) and White Rose Maths are conducting a study of schools in Yorkshire and the Humber to explore how best to support learning recovery in the region. There is evidence that pupils in the region have been disproportionately adversely impacted by the pandemic. They are asking headteachers and leaders of maths and English in primary and secondary schools in the region to complete a short survey about the ongoing challenges they face as a result of the pandemic and the support they need to aid pupils’ learning recovery. If you are from a school in the region, please look out for the email inviting you to complete the survey or contact learningrecoveryYH@nfer.ac.uk to be sent the survey. For every survey completed, White Rose Maths will donate £5 to the following charities: Yorkshire Cancer Research, Talkthru, and Springhill Hospice. So as well as informing learning recovery in your region, you will be helping to raise funds to support these important local charities.
