Dr Amanda Heffernan and Prof Steven Courtney of the University of Manchester are carrying out a research project into the experiences of recently resigned, sacked or retired headteachers in England. They are aiming to generate insights that might help with retention in headship.
Here are the eligibility criteria:
They were a headteacher in England
They left their headship up to five years ago.
They didn’t go on to another headship, or executive headship afterwards.
