Education Insights: A Focus on Citizenship

For young people growing up in an increasingly complex world, understanding their rights, responsibilities and place in society has never been more important. How do we help young people feel part of something bigger, take action in their communities, and have a voice in shaping the world around them?

In a space that celebrates exploration and discovery, we will come together at We The Curious to reimagine what citizenship can look like for the next generation and how we can help young people feel confident, connected and capable of creating positive change.

Throughout the evening, we will hear inspiring voices leading this work across education and community life. Liz Moorse, Chief Executive of the Association for Citizenship Teaching, will share how teachers can strengthen their curriculum and access the support they need to make citizenship learning real and relevant. Ashley Hodges, CEO of Young Citizens, will draw on powerful examples of how early participation experience can ignite a lifelong passion for civic life.

This evening is a chance to celebrate the work already happening in schools and communities, and to look ahead together. You will have time to connect with others, exchange ideas and leave with fresh perspectives, practical tools and a renewed sense of purpose.

Join us at this unique event in Bristol for a night of insight, conversation and collaboration and be part of a growing movement helping young people shape not just their communities, but the future we will all share.
