Members Only

With the recent release of the Curriculum and Assessment Review, and ongoing discussion about what modern curricula should include, it’s more important than ever for educators to engage with the growing body of research on curriculum design and development. This knowledge is crucial for helping students prepare for their futures.

In this expert panel webinar, we’ll explore key elements of the curriculum research landscape before examining central questions related to skills- versus knowledge-based curricula, inclusion and diversity, the challenges of the 21st century, and teacher autonomy. Throughout the session, we’ll draw out and weigh up differing arguments, highlighting the research that underpins current perspectives on curriculum development.

This webinar will also contribute to the content for our Certificate in Evidence-Informed Practice course, where candidates investigate a contemporary educational debate and critically engage with research and evidence to develop a well-reasoned, informed opinion.
