Using AI to plan a curriculum

When AI tools are used, they need to support and enhance education, rather than undermine or replace it. Any use of AI must be acknowledged and justified where required. The integration of AI into curriculum planning and lesson design enables teachers to reshape the design to support all learners. Planning a curriculum is often an arduous process, but AI can be harnessed in three primary ways: firstly, for the development of schemes of work; secondly, for content creation, such as PowerPoints, assessments and mark schemes; and finally, for augmenting instruction within and outside lessons, creating an adaptive learning environment and meeting the needs of all learners (Baidoo-Anu an
