Webinar: Ready, steady… NQT!
In this webinar recording, Joe Treacy (Head of Membership, Chartered College of Teaching), Ros Wilson (Author and Education Consultant), Aretha Banton (Co-founder, Mindful Equity UK), and Youlande Harrowell (Co-founder, Mindful Equity UK) provide practical strategies and advice to support NQTs in their first year of teaching and student teachers soon to be NQTs. They discussed:
- Practical advice and strategies in overcoming the challenges of the first year as an NQT
- Key takeaways from Ros Wilson’s new book: It takes five years to become a teacher
- Mindful Equity UK and the support network for Black and Asian women in the profession
- The Early Career Hub, Early Career Fest and other Chartered College of Teaching resources
