The Chartered College of Teaching and IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, are carrying out a project funded by the Education Endowment Foundation which aims to improve our understanding of flexible working in schools. In the research we are exploring how offering offsite planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time impacts teachers’ job satisfaction.

How to get involved

We are launching a short online poll for primary phase headteachers and leaders of MATs that include primary schools. Participants will have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw for a chance of winning one £50 Love2Shop voucher.

The aim of this poll is to determine schools’ willingness to participate in a study exploring the impact of offsite PPA using different research designs. Your answers will not represent an explicit commitment to participate in a study. We will also be asking about your school’s history with offsite PPA and you will be given the opportunity to sign-up for an online interview.

The poll, which is open until midnight on 24th November, can be accessed here.
